For as long as I can remember, I’ve been on some sort of mission. It’s in my nature. The first one I can remember (I think I was about three) was to have my very own pony - it took around eight years of single-minded focus and making the right connections and lobbying the right people to make that one happen. But I succeeded and it was the most exciting thing that had happened to me in my life. A real dream come true.

I’m glad to say I no longer have the blatant self interest that I had as a three year old. I am now more outwardly focused. As a grown up, my BIG mission is to change the world and have fun at the same time. Under that broad category there have been plenty of smaller missions that have small world-changing effects - setting up a LETSystem (community bartering), volunteering in permaculture and other community projects, raising happy children, being the kind of boss that I would want to work for myself, and now, running my own business and helping other women to find and carry out their own missions.
In my experience, there is nothing more exciting and fulfilling that setting yourself a worthy goal - one that makes a difference - and doing what it takes to achieve it.
This site is for women on a mission. You know who you are. You want more in your life than work, cleaning, running after the family and watching TV. You want to live a full life - a life that matters. You want fun. Excitement. Joy. Purpose.
